How to stay legal in Spain when everything else fails. Today we are going to talk about Arraigo social or social ties.
If you are in Spain but your visa expired or you never had one and stay here irregulary, you will probably be worry and want to regularize your legal status. I will tell you the requirements you need to make your dream come true
You can get a temporal residence permit which is called Arraigo social (social ties) if you stay for a minimum of 3 years in Spain, you will also need to collect evidence to prove you are in Spain, for example: you have to register in the Municipality you live, invoices from medical care
If you do not have any spanish relative or partner (community ties), you will need to take a small course about Spanish law, which it helps you a lot in case you don´t take any other courses associated with Spanish culture. In any case it is better and I recommend to attend to this course.
And the other requirement is about getting a job, if you are currently working is necessary to sign along with your employer a job offer, this job offer will be effective when you get your temporal residence permit
It is important dont have criminal records in your country, Spain or any other places you have lived 5 years before to apply for Arraigo Social. The process lasts around 3 months.
